LUNORYN is an independent environmental GIS practice founded by Clara Myle. It uses spatial analysis, remote sensing and environmental research to support clearer, better-informed decisions across land and sea.

ABOUT LUNORYN

Environmental GIS

Shaped by curiosity, evidence and a commitment to nature

WHY LUNORYN EXISTS

Turning environmental data
into
understanding.

Environmental challenges are spatial. Habitats are connected across landscapes, pressures accumulate across catchments and coastlines, and decisions made in one place can affect ecosystems far beyond an individual site.

Yet environmental data is often dispersed, technical or difficult to interpret.

Lunoryn was created to make these relationships clearer. By combining environmental knowledge with GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis, complex information can be transformed into accessible maps, meaningful evidence and practical outputs that support better-informed decisions.

FOUNDED BY

Clara Myle

Clara’s path to environmental GIS began in international affairs, where she developed a strong foundation in research, critical analysis and the communication of complex issues. A long-standing interest in nature and environmental change gradually led her towards ecology and applied GIS, bringing these different strands together through Lunoryn.

Her interests include biodiversity and habitat connectivity, marine and coastal environments, renewable energy, water and pollution. She approaches these themes with curiosity, care and attention to the wider context in which environmental decisions are made.

OUR APPROACH

Thoughtful analysis.
Useful environmental insight.

EVIDENCE

Reliable data, transparent methods and clearly stated assumptions form the basis of every analysis.

SPATIAL THINKING

Environmental relationships are examined across sites, landscapes, catchments and seascapes rather than in isolation.

CLARITY

Complex information is communicated through accessible maps, visual outputs and concise explanations.

PURPOSE

Each project is designed around a defined environmental question, practical need or decision.

Environmental GIS for better decisions across land and sea.

LET'S WORK TOGETHER

Have a project in mind? Let’s discuss how spatial analysis could support it.
